Ventura recycling center robbed at gun point, suspects wanted

The Ventura Police Department is searching for two suspects that robbed a Ventura recycling center Saturday afternoon.

At around 1:00 p.m., dispatch received a call about a robbery that occurred at the recycling center at 985 N. Olive St.

An employee reported that two men wearing ski masks and armed with handguns entered the business and demanded money. The suspects took a cashbox containing an undisclosed amount of money and then fled the business on foot.

The suspects were last seen running southbound on Olive Street. Officers checked the area, but were unable to locate the suspects.
