Multi-car crash reported near Lompoc

Emergency responders are on scene of a multi-vehicle crash in the area of Highway 1 and Santa Lucia Canyon Road near Lompoc.

The crash occurred shortly after 6 p.m. Wednesday with at least four people involved were hurt, but no major injuries were reported.

Fire crews on scene are reporting four vehicles were involved in the crash, as of the last emergency radio transmission.

Crews from the Santa Barbara County and Vandenberg Fire departments, along with AMR, and the California Highway Patrol, were dispatched to the area.

One vehicle appears to be leaking fuel, and one person involved in the collision was taken to the hospital, according to the CHP’s traffic incident website.

No road closured are being reported. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
