Reward offered after a suspicious dog death in Santa Barbara

The discovery of a dead dog in the area of the Santa Barbara waterfront has police investigating.

The Animal Rescue Team in Solvang is now offering a $2500. reward for information about the incident.

The dog was found last Wednesday by a passerby on East Beach, not far from the volleyball courts.
Police calling it “suspicious,” in part based on the condition of the dog when it was discovered.

The cause of the death is not known.
