Black Friday shoppers already camped out at Best Buy in Oxnard

There wasn’t a line at the Best Buy in Goleta on Monday night, but shoppers were talking about the line at

Best Buy in Oxnard.

People pitched tents right out side the door waiting for Doorbuster deals.

Experts from Wallet Hub said items are only worth waiting for if the stores offer deep discounts.

They found items at Macy’s stores discounted more than 60 percent.

Giselle Morales of Santa Barbara said she would be heading to Carters at the Camarillo Outlets to find deals

for her newborn.

Morales said early birds get gift cards at many of the stores.

Shoppers don’t have to wait until Friday since many big retailers open on Thanksgiving evening.

Others wishing to avoid crowds may get a jump start on Cyber Monday since deals often start around

midnight Friday.

Some people are quick to criticize those who love to shop after their Thanksgiving meal, but most Black Friday

shoppers consider it a holiday tradition like turkey and pumpkin pie.

They are thankful for the Black Friday memories they make with loved ones and friends.
