Ralphs closes today on De la Vina in Santa Barbara
Ralphs grocery store on De la Vina in Santa Barbara is closing today.
The store has been at the site for more than 20 years. The prior store at the location was an Alpha Beta.
Ralphs announced the closure a few weeks ago saying the store was under performing.
Discounts on all items have cleared the shelves, but there are still some products left including milk, a few bottles of alcohol, candy and some medicine.
The Santa Barbara City Board of Architectural Review has been looking at changes to the building that would bring a Grocery Outlet store to the area.
Employees at this store have been offered jobs at other Ralphs in the area.
