Suspect sought in Paso Robles gas station robbery

The Paso Robles Police Department is searching for a suspect who robbed a gas station employee at gun point early Monday morning.

According to a press release from PRPD, at around 1:25 a.m. officers were dispatched to the Golden Hill Mobil Gas Station at 2401 Golden Hill Rd.

Responding officers spoke to the gas station clerk who said a man armed with a pistol entered the business and demanded money from the cash registers. The clerk complied and the man fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash. The clerk called police immediately following the robbery.

Officers arrived on scene minutes later and searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect.

Officers were able to review surveillance video and get a thorough description of the suspect.

The suspect is described as a man, six feet tall and between 180 and 200 pounds. He was wearing all black clothes, a gray or silver mask and gloves.
