Selena make-up collection released at MAC Cosmetics
It has been twenty years since Latin pop star Selena Quintanilla was killed, but she is still inspiring her fans. This time not by music but through make-up.
MAC Cosmetics came out with a limited edition collection inspired by the late great star. Online sales started Monday and quickly sold out.
Thursday was the first day the make-up collection was available to purchase in stores. Lines at the Santa Barbara store were extremely long.
People were in line at the MAC store on State Street starting at 4 a.m. and other stores up and down the coast also had a large turnout. All to remember their favorite singer.
Selena was shot and killed by her fan club president, Yolanda Saldivar, in Corpus Christi back in 1995.
