Four people sent to hospital after crash in Goleta

Four people are being treated at Goleta Valley Cottage Hospital for minor injuries after being involved in a multi-car crash Friday afternoon.

The crash occurred at about 3:30 p.m. in the 100 block of S. Patterson Avenue in the city of Goleta.

A total of four vehicles were involved in the collision. According to Santa Barbara County Fire Capt. Dave Zaniboni, all cars involved were transporting only one occupant per vehicle at the time of the crash.

All four drivers were taken to a nearby hospital via ambulance, according to Capt. Zaniboni.

The cause of the crash is under investigation by the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office.
