Burglar hits Pismo Beach jewelry store

Pismo Beach police officers are investigating a burglary at Diamond Designs on Oak Park Boulevard.

Police say just before 1:00 p.m. Wednesday the suspect stole merchandise from the business and fled in an awaiting car described as a 90’s model primer black Ford Thunderbird with CA License plate 6MDZ477.

During his escape, Pismo Beach police say the driver of the car collided with another car causing minor damage then sped away.

No weapons were seen or reported to have been used during the crime and no one was hurt. The merchandise taken in the burglary was valued at $1,500.00.

The burglary suspect is described as a White or Hispanic male in his 30’s, wearing a red hat and gray sweatpants.

The driver of the car is described as a white male in his 30’s with light brown hair. He’s believed to weigh about 200 lbs., with numerous tattoos on both arms and wearing a white San Francisco 49ers jersey.
