Student Driver Smashes Through Santa Maria Jamba Juice Injuring Two People

It was quite the scare for employees and customers at the Jamba Juice located at 530 E. Betteravia Road in Santa Maria when a car smashed through its glass windows late Monday afternoon.

The driver of the car was identified as a student driver who reportedly slammed the accelerator, according to our KCOY 12 news crew on scene. The crash happened at 4:46 p.m.

The driving instructor suffered a cut to his arm. One person inside Jamba Juice was injured from flying glass, The driver was not hurt.

No one was hit by the car but the building did sustain major damage and is being evaluated.
