Goleta Valley South Little League Wins District 63 Title

Behind the hitting and pitching of Henry Manfredonia, Goleta Valley South Little League 12-under All-Stars defeated Dos Pueblos 3-2 in seven innings to win the District 63 Title.

Manfredonia blasted a solo home run in the top of the 7th inning to unlock a 2-2 tie in extra innings. He also came within one out of a complete game but had to come out due to his pitch count but he still recorded the win.

DP had forced extra innings when Dax Donati came up with an RBI single to center in the bottom of the sixth.

Goleta Valley South advances to the Section 1 Tournament in Thousand Oaks which begins on Saturday.
