Orcutt’s Josh Prenot Qualifies for Olympics with Record Swim

From Orcutt to the Olympics.

Josh Prenot swam the 200m breaststroke faster than any American ever and the 22-year old is now headed to the Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games.

Prenot came in first with a record time of 2 minutes, 7.17 seconds at the U.S. Olympic Swim Trials in Omaha, Nebraska. It is the second fastest time ever worldwide.

His hometown is Orcutt and he grew up training with the Santa Maria Swim Club.
