ELECTION 2016: Bernie Sanders Rally Set For Ventura College Today

Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders is campaigning in Ventura County Thursday with a rally at Ventura College.

Thousands of Sanders supporters are expected for the free event that starts at 1 p.m. Gates open at 10 a.m. and no chairs are allowed.

This is just the first of several scheduled campaign events along the Central Coast. Senator Sanders will be in Santa Barbara and Santa Maria on Saturday. Preparations are already underway at Santa Barbara City College and Santa Maria High School.

All events are free for the public.
