Santa Barbara Alzheimer’s Groups Disgusted at Planned Reagan Film
Will Ferrell will not be playing the role of dementia-stricken Ronald Reagan.
Several months ago, a table reading for “Reagan” was completed and word began to spread about Ferrell’s interest in playing the late president.
On Thursday, the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation issued a statement expressing its “disgust” towards anyone who would be interested in making light of Alzheimer’s Disease.
The Santa Barbara Chapter for Alzheimer’s Association is disappointed anyone would want to use the incurable disease as a punchline.
