Woman Sentenced to Prison for Murder of Javier Limon
One of the suspects accused in the murder of Javier Limon, was sentenced to prison in a Santa Maria courtroom on Monday.
A judge sentenced 24-year-old Yesenia Granados to five years in prison after pleading guilty to accessory to murder in the death of Limon. His body was found by field workers next to an irrigation canal near the entrance to the Guadalupe Dunes Park in August 2014.
Investigators say Limon died from several gunshot wounds. Granados disposed of evidence related to Limon’s murder.
Her brother, Arturo Granados, 23, and Gregorio Agustine, 27, are facing first-degree murder charges. They will appear in court on October 19.
