Four Lompoc Men Arrested After a Home Invasion Robbery

Lompoc police say that they’ve arrested Brandon Robert Morrison, Leonard Adrian Torrez, Josh Steven Hofeld & Gary Patrick Greathouse, all from Lompoc, in connection with a home invasion robbery on August 27.

The incident occurred at a residence in the 100 block of North Z street in the city of Lompoc. Investigators said that the suspects conspired to get the male resident to leave the city, and when that happened, one suspect distracted a female victim at the front door as two other suspects entered the home from the rear.

The suspects allegedly pointed a gun at the victim while they were inside her home. The victim was able to run away and call 911.

Officers investigating the incident spotted the suspect vehicle not far from the victim’s home. A chase ensued after the suspects spotted police, but officers were unable to locate the suspects. Police discovered that the suspect vehicle was stolen during a check of the car, and found property belonging to the victim.

During the investigation, authorities located surveillance video that recorded the suspects during the home invasion robbery. Morrisson, Torrez and Hofeld were arrested within four days of the incident. Greathouse was arrested on Tuesday after a brief pursuit with police that ended at 428 North O Street, where he was found hiding in a closet. Greathouse was driving a stolen vehicle at the time according to authorities.

Police conducted a follow-up investigation at an apartment on 525 North T Street in Lompoc, where Greathouse was observed leaving prior to the police pursuit. Investigators found half a pound of methamphetamine and just under an ounce of Heroin—a street value of approximately $25,320. Police took Crystal Monique Manzanares into custody.

The suspects were charged with the following:
