Small Brush Fire Ignites In Oceano Dunes
A small vegetation fire at Oceano Beach Dunes had authorities making a speedy response, Friday.
The quarter-acre fire broke out just before 5 p.m.
Authorities say it’s burning in a tricky location because the area is only accessible by air and foot support.
Cal Fire responded with one helicopter, seven engines, two hand crews and three overhead personnel. There is no word yet on the cause of the fire but an investigator is on scene.
No structures are threatened and no evacuations have been ordered.
