Alan Williams Signs with Charlotte for Summer League

Alan Williams didn’t get selected in last week’s NBA Draft but he has found a summer home in the league with the Charlotte Hornets.

The former UCSB standout signed to play in the summer league hosted by the Orlando Magic. Williams’ first game will be July 4 at 3pm as the Hornets take on the Oklahoma City Thunder. The ten-team week-long event in Orlando concludes on July 10 with the championship games.

Big Al averaged almost 18 points per game last year for the Gauchos and led the nation in rebounding for a second straight season at 11.8 per contest.
