Freebirds Closes It Doors In Ventura

Freebirds fans were turned away during the lunch hour at Freebirds World Burrito in Ventura on Monday afternoon.

Workers pointed to a sign on the door that said they could go to the restaurants Agoura location.

The restaurants is Isla Vista has a different owner.

Freebirds in Agoura would not comment on the Ventura closure.

But diners said they suspected a Chipotle that opened in the same shopping center, across from the Ventura County Government Center, may have made for some tough competition.
