Search Warrant Leads to Arrest of Elderly Man in Santa Maria
A search warrant served in the 700 block of N. Lincoln Street led to the arrest of a 66 year-old Santa Maria man.
The Santa Maria Police Department Gang Suppression Team arrested Jose Pineda 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
Pineda is in Santa Barbara County Jail for:
– Possession of methamphetamine for sale
– Possession of marijuana for sale
– Maintaining a residence where drugs are sold
– Unlawful possession of drugs while armed with a firearm and possession of methamphetamine for sale near school grounds.
In addition to the drugs, Pineda was in possession of 3 handguns (1 was loaded), 4 rifles, ammunition and over $1,700 cash.
