Ventura Man Robbed AT&T Store Of Cellphones

The Ventura AT&T store was robbed after a man entered the store with a pair of scissors and threatened employees on Thursday.

Ventura police arrived to the 2800 block of Johnson Drive just before 8 p.m. after an employee activated the store’s panic alarm.

The suspect used the scissors to cut the cables from several cellphones that were on display then exited the store with the phones.

He was last seen running northbound through the parking lot.

The suspect is described wearing a blue bandana, a black hooded sweatshirt and shorts, with a tall, thin build in his late-20s.
