Mack To Resume Coaching Career

There is a buzz around the Oxnard Yellowjackets football team. Jon Mack is all set to become the new head coach. Pending school board approval on Wednesday, Mack will take over an Oxnard program that is already used to going to the playoffs under Mark Beckham who resigned due to health concerns.

Mack won 7 CIF titles with St. Bonaventure in Ventura where he built the Seraphs into a county powerhouse. He also had successful stints as head coach at Ventura College and Crespi High School.
