Dons Whip Royals in Girls Hoops

Amber Melgoza scored 41 points and added seven rebounds as Santa Barbara routed San Marcos 73-18 in the Channel League opener for both teams.

It’s the fifth time this year Melgoza has scored at least 40 points in a game as the Dons improved to 13-3 on the season.

They host Dos Pueblos on Thursday.
