Santa Maria Man Arrested for Terrorist Threats and Stalking
Santa Maria police responded to a woman who claims she was stalked and threatened by a man she previously had a relationship with.
The victim broke off a relationship with 38 year-old Javier Beltran several months ago.
Police say the victim feared for her safety after Beltran’s threats increased and had tracked her to a local community she recently moved to.
Beltran turned himself in to Santa Maria Police on Friday night, where he faces charges of stalking and terrorist threats.
His bail has been set at $150,000.
