Carp Beats Bishop in Boys Basketball
Omar Miranda scored a game-high 26 points as Carpinteria held off Bishop Diego 63-58 in the Tri-Valley League opener for both teams.
In front of a big crowd in Santa Barbara, Miranda led the Warriors to their seventh win of the season against six losses. The home Cardinals are 6-11 on the year. Marco Schneider tallied 17 points for Bishop.
