Arrest Made in Connection to Residential Burglary in Santa Maria

A Santa Maria man has been arrested in connection to a residential burglary in Santa Maria.

Several items were stolen from a home on the 1800 block of S. Alhambra Avenue on January 4, 2015.

Evidence collected from the investigation led Santa Maria police to arrest 18-year old Tonketl Isaias Vega Hernandez on Friday night.

Police say Hernandez is associated with a gang and has been booked in Santa Barbara County jail for burglary and criminal street gang enhancement.
