START SMART DRIVING PROGRAM | PISMO BEACH | SAT. | 10AM | FREE

Want to make sure your teen drivers know the rules of the road?

The Pismo Beach Police Department is holding a “Start Smart” Program for Local Teen Drivers.

The class is geared toward reducing collisions and injuries involving people between the ages of 15-20.

The class is free to everyone and lasts 2 hours.

ART OF CHARLEY HARPER | SOLVANG | WILDLING MUSEUM | 11AM | $5

If you are looking for some fine art this weekend, check out the Charley Harper exhibit at the Wildling Museum in Solvang.

Harper is displaying over 30 original pieces of work at his first showing on the west coast in years.

The doors open at 11 a.m. and also include fun craft activities for kids.

17TH ANNUAL RESTAURANT MONTH | SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY | THROUGH JAN. 31

San Luis Obispo County is celebrating the 17th Annual Restaurant Month through the end of January.

Over 40 participating restaurants from areas around the county will be featuring special menus and promotions, most will include a fixed three -course meal.

The statewide promotion is highlighting the area’s best California Cuisine.
