Ventura Sheriff’s Deputies Make Major Drug Bust

Ventura County Sheriff’s deputies arrest two men linked to a major drug bust in Oxnard.

Deputies arrested Jose Garcia, 48, and Anthony Ochoa, 42, for possession of narcotics with the intent to sell.

The bust comes after narcotics investigators received information the two men were selling drugs in Oxnard, Port Hueneme, and Camarillo.

Garcia was stopped Tuesday night by deputies. When they searched his house they found several ounces of methamphetamine, cocaine, and cash.

Investigators also searched Ochoa’s house after he was arrested Wednesday. The search yielded four pounds of heroin. The estimated street value of the heroin is estimated at $155,000.

The two men have been booked into the Ventura County Jail.
