Santa Maria Police Investigate 4th Homicide In 2014

Terrance Richardson, 23-years-old, was the fourth person murdered in Santa Maria in 2014 and the second person in December.

Stephanie Garcia, Richardson’s best friend, said “[she] just [doesn’t] know why anyone would want to do this to him.”

Garcia knew Richardson for about four years and said the two of them once lived together.

Wednesday morning Garcia and another friend went to the neighborhood where Richardson was killed to figure out what happened.

“He lived all the way across town which is why it is weird that he would be all the way over here,” Garcia said.

Richardson was taken by car to Marian Regional Medical Center, where he died from his injuries.
