Paso Robles Christmas Tree Recycling

Celebrating a “green” Christmas is an established tradition in the City of Paso Robles. This year, as in years past, Paso Robles will accept recycled Christmas trees, grind them into mulch, and provide the mulch to residents free of charge.

Starting Friday, December 26, and continuing through Friday, January 9th, residents may bring their bare Christmas trees to the City lot on the corner of 4th and Pine Streets. The lot will be open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Entry is through the south gate.

Beginning Tuesday, January 6, 2015 and continuing through Friday, January 16, mulch will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Loading and hauling is the responsibility of the individual. Mulch may be picked up at the City lot on the corner of 4th and Pine Streets, which will be open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Entry is through the south gate.

Paso Robles city administrators would like to remind the public that this service is provided only if residents bring in bare trees. This means no flocking, no tinsel, no ornaments, no stands and no artificial trees.
