Cyclist Injured In Collision With BMW
Santa Barbara police said a cyclist was taken to the hospital with head injuries after being hit by a car on Chritmas Eve.
It happened on Carillo St. west of 101 freeway around 6:30 p.m.
Police said a black BMW hit a woman riding a mountain bike.
The driver has not been cited.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
Police said people seem to be rushing around more than normal.
They said accidents like this can be avoided by slowing down.
