Royals Win 3rd Straight Carp Cage Classic
It’s a three-peat for San Marcos as they take home first place at the Jim Bashore Carpinteria Cage Classic in boys basketball. Making the title even sweeter was the Royals beat rival Santa Barbara again in the title game.
Scott Everman was the Tournament MVP as he scored 21 points to help the Royals win 50-38. All-Tournament selection Kele Mkpado added 17 points as San Marcos erased a 21-14 halftime deficit.
San Marcos beat the Dons in the final of this tournament in 2012 as well.
