Grover Beach Man Loses 250 Pounds

A Grover Beach man has lost 250 pounds with gastric bypass surgery over the course of 2 years.

A.J. Rice once weighed over 400 pounds.

Following the advice of doctors, he underwent gastric bypass surgery and now has a new life, a new book and even a new name.

Rice now goes by the name of Sean Kurtis DeMarco and is a model for Marc Anthony’s clothing line.

DeMarco has written a book called Finding Me, chronicling his struggles with his weight and depression.
