Dons Girls Hoops Can’t Complete Rally

Amber Melgoza started off hot, Jada Howard then got hot but it wasn’t enough to keep Santa Barbara from losing 75-69 to Carondelet in the consolation bracket at the Tournament of Champions.

Melgoza scored 26 points but she was in foul trouble for much of the game. Howard also scored 26 points as she helped the Dons almost overcome a 20 point second half deficit.

Santa Barbara is now 9-2 on the year.
