Old Fashioned Popcorn Machine Helps People with the Holiday Grind

If you want to relive the fun of making popcorn the old fashioned way, there’s a special machine to help you at the Saturday Farmers Market in Santa Barbara.

A special grinder, dating back decades, takes golden popcorn kernals right off the cob, with a few cranks of the handle.

You just drop them in one at a time and with about five cobs, you’ll have enough kernals for your next party or while you watch a movie at home.

The kernals just have to be in a pan with hot oil and in a matter of minutes you’ll have the freshest popcorn in town.

The machine is at a vendor’s corner spot on Cota and Santa Barbara Streets during the Saturday Farmers Market.
