La Cumbre Junior High Celebrates Newly Renovated Auditorium

La Cumbre Junior High School celebrated the completion of their newly remodeled auditorium at a ribbon-cutting ceremony Wednesday morning.

The $2.5 million bond-funded renovation project boasts refurbished seats on the main auditorium level, upgraded aisle lighting on the main and balcony levels, replacement of all existing wall tiles and decorative accents, replacement of existing chandeliers, added lighting, and new carpet among other additions.

Guests in attendance were invited on a “backstage tour” of the facility.

The renovation accommodated 1, 100 seats and is the third largest theater in the community. La Cumbre Junior High is looking forward to hosting performances in the new theater.
