Rainy Day Zumba Class Collects Toys For Tots

Zumba fitness instructor Josette Tkacik rented out La Playa Stadium at Santa Barbara City College to hold her Zumba/Toys for Tots fundraiser on Monday night.

Despite rain in the forecast, she knew her diehard students would come.

Tkacik is known for teaching the largest daily attended Zumba fitness class in the nation.

She was not disappointed, more than a hundred people turned out with toys.

They worked out without stopping during light showers.

Some of them wore holiday costumes too.

Toys may still be dropped off at the Unity Shoppe at 110 W. Sola Street.

Regular Zumba classes are held Monday through Saturday at the Historic Carillo Ballroom in Santa Barbara.
