Sheriff’s Deputies in Montecito Trying to Resolve Domestic Incident

Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s deputies are trying to resolve an escalating incident in the Montecito area. At one point, a suspect refusing to come out.

The Sheriff’s office says the incident appears to be a domestic situation between a couple.

Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Department said the incident started shortly after 11:40 a.m. Friday, and it doesn’t appear as if anyone has been injured.

There was no immediate danger to the public and no reverse 911 was sent out.

Residents are advised to avoid that immediate area until the situation is resolved.
