CONTEST RULES:

Fox 11 KKFX and KEYT NewsChannel 3 will conduct a “Holiday Photo” contest Monday Dec 8-7am Friday December 19, 2014. Fox 11 and KEYT viewers and KEYT and Fox 11 Facebook visitors will be encouraged to enter their holiday photos to win one of (10) $50 gift cards from Samy’s Camera Santa Barbara, and/or the grand prize $500 gift card from Samy’s Camera Santa Barbara. Daily photo winners will be selected by KEYT and Fox 11 staff based on which of the available entries best captures the holiday spirit. Each winner’s entry becomes property of NPG, California and will be posted on the KEYT Facebook page www.facebook.com/keytnewschannel3 . Contestants may submit photos as many times as they would choose. One daily prize per person. One daily prize per family. All entries qualify for the grand prize. All decisions of the Fox 11 and KEYT judges are final.

Contest period: Friday, Dec 5-midnight, Thursday Dec. 18, 2014. Entry deadline is midnight, Thursday, December 18, 2014.

Contests and promotions are open to California residents 18 years of age or older unless otherwise stated for a specific contest or promotion. No purchase is necessary.

News-Press Gazette of California reserves the right to limit participants to (i) one prize per household every 30 days or (ii) in the case of a major prize valued at $500.00 or more, one prize per household every 12 months. Winners are responsible for all federal, state and local taxes, if any. All federal, state and local laws apply. Contests and promotions are void where prohibited or restricted by law.

There are no prize substitutions. Prizes are non-transferable and are not negotiable. Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash. Sponsors and News-Press Gazette of California reserve the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value.

Some prizes have restrictions, or expiration dates, and do not include gratuities. If the winner is not able or chooses not to accept prize “as is,” the winner forfeits his or her prize. The winner is responsible for all costs associated with travel to any venue or event for which a prize is awarded, unless otherwise specified.

Odds of winning are undeterminable and depend on varying internet access and/or the volume of entities received.

Winners that live within Santa Barbara County must pick-up their prize in person at 730 Miramonte Drive, Santa Barbara, California 93109, unless arrangements are made in writing. Prizes for winners living outside of Santa Barbara County will be mailed or sent by UPS. News-Press Gazette of California is not responsible for any prize lost or damaged in shipping. Any prize not picked-up or otherwise claimed within 30 days will be forfeited.

Employees and families or anyone living in the same household of employees of
News-Press Gazette of California, the (St. Joseph, Missouri) News-Press & Gazette Company and its subsidiaries, and any of our vendors, advisers, advertisers or sponsors or employees of other television and radio stations are not eligible to enter contests and promotions and are not eligible to win prizes. Contests and promotions are not open to owners, officers, employees, consultants or
advertising-marketing agencies of or for any television or radio stations, newspapers or cable television franchises in the Santa Barbara-Santa Maria-San Luis Obispo, California television and radio markets.

All contestants and winners acknowledge as a condition of entry that
News-Press Gazette of California, all organizations providing prizes and their participating sponsors have the right to publicize and broadcast his/her name, character, likeness and voice on the air in print advertising.

Winners of a prize with a value of $500.00 or more will be required to complete IRS Form W-9 and will be issued IRS Form 1099 at the time the prize is claimed.

News-Press Gazette of California reserves the right to modify these general rules at any time provided the modified results are announced and made available to the public. News-Press Gazette of California reserves the right to cancel a contest or promotion at any time prior to the selection of a winner. All decisions of News-Press Gazette of California with regard to the awarding of prizes, the selection of winners and the interpretation of contest or promotion rules shall be final. Each contestant by virtue of entering a station contest or promotion agrees to accept the decision of News-Press Gazette of California as final.

News-Press Gazette of California makes no warranty of any kind with respect to prizes, including, but not limited to, any warranties or merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
News-Press Gazette of California hereby expressly disclaims any such warranties.

By participating, all entrants acknowledge and agree they have entered the contest or promotion of their own free will, that the full rules and details of the contest or promotion have been made available to them in writing and they therefore understand and agree that neither News-Press Gazette of California, all organizations providing prizes, their agencies, and their immediate families, or their agents, affiliates, sponsors, representatives or employees have limited liability with respect to contestants’ participation in the contest or promotion or winning a prize and are not liable for any damages arising from acceptance and use of a prize, including liability for personal injury and/or death.
