Man Found Stabbed near Santa Barbara Westside Store
Santa Barbara police are searching for people who they believe stabbed a man late Sunday night.
Detectives were called to the a market on West Micheltorena Street around 11pm Sunday.
They found a man bleeding and discovered he had been stabbed one time.
Police believe he may have been attacked by more than one person, but say the victim hasn’t been too helpful with information.
Investigators suspect the assault was gang related.
The stabbing victim was taken to the hospital. His condition is unknown. The wound is not believed to be life threatening.
A trail of blood was followed.
Police questioned people inside a nearby home on Gillespie Street, but determined no one there was involved with the crime.
