Nipomo Wins First-Ever CIF Title

They will always remember the Titans!

The Titans football team brought home Nipomo High School’s first-ever CIF title for any sport with a 22-19 victory over Arrowhead Christian. The Titans are the champions of the CIF Southern Section Northwest Division.

Michael Jordan got the scoring started for Nipomo with a 2-yard touchdown and the game was tied at 7 at the half.

Antonio Navarro’s 1-yard touchdown run put the Titans up 14-13 in the third quarter.

Matt Albright connected with Nick Kimball on a 39-yard touchdown strike that put the Titans up 22-13. The Eagles scored midway through the fourth quarter but Nipomo did not allow another point as they celebrate the title.

Nipomo is 10-4 and CIF Champions!
