Oxnard Man Gets Life Without Parole for Murder
Ventura County District Attorney Gregory D. Totten announced on Thursday that 63-year-old Maximo Tamayo-Flores was sentenced to life in prison without parole for the killing of Oxnard resident, Ramon Quintero.
Tamayo-Flores also received 25 years to life, and an additional 22 years 8 months for robbery, committing terrorist threats and kidnapping.
Tamayo-Flores shot and killed Quintero in October 2009, and then dumped his body along the Pacific Coast Highway between Faria and Solimar beaches.
A jury found Tamayo-Flores guilty of six counts, including first degree murder and a robbery special circumstance.
