‘The Honor Bar’ Opening on Santa Barbara’s Upscale Coast Village Road
The Honor Bar has plans to open in January at 101 Coast Village Road on one of Santa Barbara’s more upscale streets. It will be near higher end restaurants including Lucky’s and Trattoria Mollie, but should create a niche spot for a fine-casual drink and dining experience.
Green fencing has come down on a multi-unit site where Turk Hessellund Nursery was previously located next to Jeannine’s restaurant. The Honor Bar will be one of several businesses in the new building.
The Honor Bar is part of the Hillstone restaurant company. (It also owns the Houston’s restaurant chain.)
With inside and outside seating in a corner location, The Honor Bar can handle about 60 guests at a time. A similar location in Beverly Hills has a menu featuring sandwiches, salads, sushi, wine and specialty drinks.
