Message from Parents: We Believe in You

The scene at Righetti High just eleven days ago involved heavy police presence, helicopters flying overhead and a mandatory lock down.

The scene near Righetti High today looked a whole lot different.

“This is really a community effort,” said Kirsten Spallino.

Spallino along with several other parents rallied around campus today for a prayer walk.

“We’re there for you, we’re praying for you and we believe in you,” said Danelle Wineman

Wineman has a child who attends Righetti, Spallino has a son who attends St. Joseph’s.

“With all the commotion going on and all the rumors, we thought, it’s time to pray over the school,” said Wineman.”It’s time to walk the perimeter and pray for the kids and the teachers,”

They hope that students at both Righetti and St. Joseph’s will embrace this message of peace.

“The fact is, there are mostly good kids who wanna learn, unfortunately there are also some lost kids who are probably hurting and acting out.”
