Car Accident Sends Driver To The Hospital
A person is in the hospital after a car accident on Highway 154. Emergency crews responded just after 1:30 p.m. Monday to a car in a ditch.
The accident happened on Highway 154 at East Camino Cielo Road. Officials said a single car veered off the road.
Bystanders were performing CPR on the driver when Santa Barbara County Fire arrived on scene.
The person was transported to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital via AMR ambulance. The cause of the accident is under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
Traffic on the 154 was slowed down due to the accident investigation.
