Motorcycle Accident Leaves One Dead

A motorcyclist was killed after crashing with an SUV near Sycamore Campground in Ventura County just after 2 p.m. Thursday.

The California Highway Patrol closed the northbound side of Highway 1 for two hours.

The person driving the SUV was okay.

Authorities have yet to release the name of the person killed in the crash.
