SB Foresters Trade Bats For Golf Clubs in Turkey Shootout
It’s a great way to start the holiday season. Past and present Santa Barbara Foresters along with their fans and supporters spend the day before Thanksgiving golfing at the Glen Annie Golf Club in Goleta.
The 16th annual Turkey Shootout raises money for the Foresters and their Hugs for Cubs which helps kids with cancer.
Free agent Major League Baseball pitcher James Shields enjoyed the day golfing. He pitched for the Foresters in 2000.
Santa Barbara won its fifth National Championship back in August.
