Beaches, Bars, Theaters Busy Before Thanksgiving Dinner
Not everyone dined and dashes to Black Friday Eve store openings.
Many people spend the time before and after Thanksgiving dinner with family and friends.
Warm temperatures made beaches a popular destination. People swam, jet skied and made sand castles at Ledbetter Beach in Santa Barbara.
Bars along State Street were busy too. Football fans watching big screen TV’s said they were thankful they didn’t have to do the holiday cooking.
Other people spent time with their parents and siblings at the movies.
Essence Thornhill called it quality bonding time with her sister.
