Organic Soup Kitchen Seeks Community Help
The Organic Soup Kitchen is celebrating its sixth annual Thanksgiving Day community dinner.
The event organizers said they are in need of two items to help make the day successful.
The public is asked to bring in gift cards to grocery stores and frozen fruit. Donations can be dropped off at the Veterans Memorial Building on 112 West Cabrillo Blvd. until 10 p.m. Wednesday.
The dinner is free for everyone on Thanksgiving Day and it includes traditional roasted turkey with all the trimmings. The event kicks off at noon and will last until 4 p.m. on Thursday in Santa Barbara.
