Santa Barbara Girls Rock After School Fundraiser
It was a rock and roll party at Soho Sunday afternoon where young performers got to express themselves musically on stage.
It was all part of the 2nd annual “Rock the House Two” showcase and fundraiser.
Proceeds from the fundraiser will go to scholarships for the Girls Rock Santa Barbara After School Program.
The program is for girls between the ages of six and seventeen, who are interested in music.
The program also focuses on self-empowerment and building up self-esteem.
The 10-week program consists of students taking lessons, forming bands, collaboratively writing original songs, and ultimately performing a live showcase each November.
